Yes - that's my name on the door! Even though I’ve sold the business to Hugh and Gemma it’s still my reputation on the line – so I’m totally focused on maintaining and building our reputation and helping Hugh and Gemma continue to grow.
I served my time as an apprentice at Doughty Electrical, completing my apprenticeship in 1975. I started Jewell’s Refrigeration in 1980, training a number of apprentices and sold the business to the very capable hands of Hugh who had worked for me for 15 years. I’m still on here as the Workshop Manager so feel free to pop in and say hi!
My hobbies are fly fishing and sea fishing. I love travelling anywhere, both NZ and overseas and enjoy eating out and trying new restaurants. I like to walk Coco the dog, (come give her a pat at the showroom sometime) and enjoy the occasional bike ride. I love a party and listening to quality music with a glass or two of wine. I also enjoy the times spent with my grandkids, especially at the Bach and roasting marshmallows over the fire.
